Hello, everyone! I'm happy to say Blythe and I survived Round One of final exam stress and we now have our IB Math Studies tests out of the way! We also both took the SAT last Saturday, so we're anxious to get all our of results back. Fortunately, we only have to wait about two and a half weeks to find out our SAT scores, but our IB test results don't come back to us until July! It's going to be hard to wait that long, but we sure have a lot to keep us busy! I'm feeling under the weather (again--seriously, this needs to stop) and we both have long end-of-the-year to-do lists, so I'm not sure when the next post will come. I really hate doing this, but thank you all so much for your patience!

Ruckus
Top: Target/ Jacket: JC Penny's/ Jeans: local store/ Scarf: H&M/ Shoes: Payless/ Bag: Old Navy
While taking pictures the other day, there were some workers in my neighbor's backyard, and the puppy was not happy about it! She's so sweet and protective, but I was definitely not expecting her to start barking when she did, hence the turtle face.
As much as I hate to do this, I need to say that posts will be very scarce the next week or so. Blythe and I are both in the IB program at our school, and though we're both juniors, we're taking the senior level Math class. This means that we're taking our official IB final exam this year. The way final exams for IB work is you take tests during your senior year that test you over the past two years of high school. Without getting too in depth with the details of how each test counts specifically per student, all exams are part of a checklist that determines whether or not you get to graduate high school with an IB diploma (you'll still graduate high school even if you don't get the fancy diploma, but getting the diploma gives you a lot of college credit and is widely recognized around the world). This means that this test that we're taking next Thursday and Friday will partially determine if we get that special diploma or not. And we'd really, really like those diplomas. So we'll be studying a lot, especially because we're also trying to take the SAT next weekend, which will be the Saturday after our IB Math test. Needless to say, things'll be a little crazy. And school always has to come before the blog. However, study breaks are also important, so you may be able to find us on Pinterest for a few minutes here and there.
Wish us luck! Are there any other fellow IB students out there? Or IB graduates?

Hand-Me-Down
Top: Mom's from Talbots/ Jeans: Old Navy/ Shoes: Payless/ Bracelet: Gift/ Bag: Payless
My mom's had this shirt for absolutely forever and so I decided to borrow it. Okay, so it's not exactly a hand-me-down, but I definitely love wearing it. I used to wear my mom's shirts to sleep in when I was younger, but now that I'm older, they fit me well enough to wear in regular outfits! Borrowing clothes is now definitely my favorite way to get out of a style rut, so I've got my eyes on a few pieces from my family. Best part is, I don't have to pay anything! And it mixes up my outfits a little, which is nice since I only have about a month left before I make my goal of not repeating. So close!

Decor as Clothing
A failed jumping photo
Top and Dress: Forever 21/ Shoes: UO/ Scarf: Target
I originally bought this scarf to tack up on a wall in my room, but when I was putting this outfit together, I just couldn't resist the sweet, multicolored tassels. I loved the little pops of color they added to my outfit, and so I can't wait to hang this scarf up above my bed. Putting my room together isn't my highest priority right now as the semester is ending, but it's one of the first things I'm planning on doing when summer starts. Though this might be my last year at home, I want to make sure my room is a space I like being in since I spend so much time in there. I've been keeping that goal in mind for a couple years now, and since then I've collected things that I think will help bring my room together. When I saw this scarf, I knew it was one of them! Especially because I just got this scarf, I'm just so excited to put it all together!

Mid-High School Crisis--And a Cute Dress
Dress: T.J.Maxx/ Shoes: Payless/ Belt: Vintage/ Skirt: Gap/ Tank: Target
When I found this dress, I had to wear it right away. It's just so perfect for spring and summer! Now that I think about it, though, it'll also work well paired with darker colors for winter and fall. How exciting that will be! Although I wouldn't mind if fall took it's time coming. There's no way I'm ready to be a senior! I know all I only talk about school and whatnot (sorry!!), but it's really crazy to become aware of how many major, junior-related things are suddenly due. And then whenever I catch myself wishing it'd be summer already, I remember something my mom said once. I was talking to her and saying how I wished it'd be Friday or Saturday or something, and she just said, "It's a little sad that you're wishing your life away like that." It's been years since then, but that's always stuck with me. So as much as I'd love it to be summer and just be done with exams and things like that, it's nice to remember that I really don't want the next month or so of my life to just disappear. But then I am freaking out about how much time has already passed, so things are a little crazy over here. I'm having a mid-high school crisis or something! I'm not ready for all this to be over, but at least I get to wear a cute dress while time flies by ;).
