What's a post without at least one slightly awkward picture?

When I found out that the EBEW theme for this month was yellow, I kicked myself, because my all out yellow outfit...already did that. Sigh. So I decided to use half of that outfit, and I picked the shirt. Then, because I am obsessed with pattern mixing (news, right?) I decided to throw in this skirt. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I actually really like it--two florals, which I almost never do, playing only with size and color.
Also, this skirt is pretty different from ones I've bought in the past. I've always gone with fluffy/poofy, but this one is kind of fitted, which took some getting used to. Since I can't let go of volume completely, I thought a good way to ease into styling this skirt would be to pair it with something like this shirt--something with a bit of poof.
