Changes

As you might have guessed, things are changing a bit around here. It's hard to believe that we've been blogging here for almost two years! Crazy! And it's really been wonderful. But we've decided that we have very different blog visions and a two-person setup isn't really the best anymore. Don't worry--we're still the best of friends! It's just that since we'll be moving to different cities next year, it'll be too difficult to continue doing a joint blog, and so we're both striking out on our own! We're both very excited about the new blogs and we hope you'll join us over there!

Frolicking is Harder Than it Looks

I feel like a successful jumping picture is a milestone for any blogger. And I'm rather proud of it. I've never been able to get an in-focus jumping shot without using flash or of myself (using flash or not), so I was surprised it turned out this well! And then I tried to frolic because the weather was finally sunny after a week full of rain (which kept me from taking pictures until today, which was pretty weird--I don't know how you bloggers in the rainy areas do it). But it turns out frolicking is harder to convey in photos than I thought, so I just included my best efforts. I'm definitely going to have to work on that, though.

Records Are For Breaking

Yesterday Alles Mode had a record number of page views! So I'd just like to say that Blythe and I really appreciate everyone who comments, follows, or just looks through the blog. Thank you so much to Jill for this. And thanks to everyone who contributed to us breaking our record and those of you who have been commenting and following since early on.

It's a little hard to see in this picture, but Alles Mode recently has hit the milestone of reaching 1,000 page views! Actually in the picture,  it says 1,009 and we wanted to get it right at 1,000, but, hey, this is close enough. We know that in the blogging world, we're still babies and so we really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to follow us, comment, and even just read our blog. It all does mean a lot.
