Lately, I've been feeling...limited by my "summer pieces." Don't get me wrong--I love them all to pieces, but I've just always felt this way. I hate being confined to dressing for the specific season! Especially when it's so hot, I get frustrated because there are things in my closet I'd like to wear, but it's just impossible. So I just decided to wear some of those pieces anyway. We'll see how that goes. I'm still not exactly sure how this "wearing whatever I want" is going to work out, but today I wore a sweater again! Granted, this sweater is rather thin, but still. I was just too drawn to the pattern today to not wear it. Again, to balance out the fact that I wore a sweater in the summer, I paired it with a flowy skirt. I was actually a bit surprised how these two pieces worked together. Originally I was afraid it would be a bit too much, but decided to try it anyway. And I'm happy with the outcome! Bright, summery, flowers...happy things. No puppies this time, but you guys get the picture.

What an interesting idea to take your outfit photos with masks on! Are your names really Blythe and Charlotte, because if so that is awesome.
