I've always loved belted outfits, but I can't often wear them because I'm allergic to metal. Non-metal belts are really hard to find, and often when they are, they're really wide, which doesn't always work in outfits. I've personally always liked the look of thin belts more, but they're impossible to get without a metal buckle. So when I was at Forever 21 the other day, an idea suddenly hit me. I found a belt that was way too long for me and tried to see if I could tie it without using the metal part. And it worked! So I just cut off the metal part (the buckle) and it works beautifully! I'm really excited about this because I've been looking for a way to wear a skinny belt ever since I found out I couldn't wear metal and I finally have!
So for such a happy occasion, I, of course, had to add a scarf. A scarf makes anything even the teeniest bit happy into something amazing! Or maybe that's just me and my scarf obsession, but anyway (I'm not the only one...right?). Also, I've been wanting to pair yellow and green together for a while now, so I jumped at this opportunity. And the result was a new outfit theory: scarf+skinny belt=perfect Monday outfit. Yes, I'm so nerdy I had to include theories and formulas into something as superficial as personal outfits. Enjoy.
