Holiday Guest Post: Out of Order

Hi there allesmode readers! My name is Meghan, and I'm visiting from my blog Out of Order. I'm super happy to be guest posting for Blythe and Charlotte while they're busy with the holiday festivities! While the Christmas season here on the coast of California isn't too spirited weather-wise (I'm talking sunshine and 53 degrees), it's still a lovely time full of lighted trees, eggnog milkshakes and warm friendly gatherings.

For me, it's also a time to try to stay warm while still dressing up and feeling festive at holiday parties. No matter where I am, I feel the draft whenever the door opens! For a Christmas baby's birthday dinner a few nights ago I wore a long sleeve black shirt under a lacy ruffled Behnaz Sarafpour for Target flapper dress (which I picked up at Crossroads for a friends' wedding last summer) and accentuated the waist with a shiny red patent belt, layered two pairs of maroon tights (sparkly silver ones or a sage green pair would have been cool choices, too) and laced up some toasty wedge booties (from Wet Seal).
